Nicholas (Nico) Ajemian has been a stalwart, dedicated and dependable student for the entire year. He was always the first person to volunteer for extra work and the last person to leave at any event. Leif Atchley Ridgeland High School, Rossville, GA. Class of 2015. Instrument: Trumpet, Director: Rick Chambers. Leif is a graduating senior, a member of this band for 4 years and a wonderful musician. He plays in college and professional level orchestras and ensembles as well as starting a few of his own in the community and here at school. He is a semi-finalist at the National Trumpet Competition, an active member of the International Trumpet Guild and looks to take his many talents, drive and love of music on to perform globally and teach the trumpet at the collegiate level hoping to pass on the inspiration that has given him with so much.

Clifford James Avery began studying music at the age of five and performed in his first recital on piano at seven. He has been playing saxophone since the fourth grade. In addition to the sax he also plays electric bass, guitar and drums. He is currently attending college at Buffalo State College.

Christian began playing in the school band in 5th grade on the trumpet and migrated to the Euphonium in high school and has received awards for "most inspirational", "most improved" and John Phillips Sousa Award. He since has founded Pro Musica music program at Centralia Community College and is instrumental in securing funding and a budget to sustain the program.

Samuel Joseph Blair Westerville South High School, Westerville, OH. Class of 2015. Instrument: Euphonium, Director: John Laswell. Samuel has a passion for all music. He started playing baritone in sixth grade and has continued to refine his musical talents with the Euphonium, Bass Trombone, Tuba and Sousaphone. Sam is pursuing Music Education at Ohio University in the Fall of 2015. He also plans to audition for the Marching 110. During his high school career, he performed in the WSHS marching band for five years, beginning in eighth grade. He performed with the Columbus Youth Symphonic Band as first chair Euphonium for two years. He was also first chair Euphonium in WSHS Wind Symphony and performed with the WSHS Jazz Band playing bass trombone. Other musical accomplishments include pit orchestra in three WSHS theatre performances, and playing euphonium and tuba in his church choir.

Neil Cole Shiloh High School, Snellville, GA. Class of 2015. Instrument: Oboe, Director: Barrett Alexander. Neil Cole was a very phenomenal young man. During his time in High School he was principle oboist in the Symphonic Band and lead tenor in the Jazz Band. He was an inspiration for many of his peers and taught many of the younger students how to read and play music. He has earned many honors such as district honor band, becoming principle Oboe in Gwinnett County Youth Symphony, winning a spot in the prestigious Metro Atlanta Youth Wind Ensemble and winning the Omega Psi Phi talent hunt music competition. Neil is attending Georgia State University to study Music Performance or Music Education.

She has been a member of our band programs since Jr.High. She studied privately with a drum teacher for several years. Sierra has excellent skills. She is also very willing use them on any occasion. Taylor Duren is the recipient of the John Philip Sousa Award at American Christian Academy for a second year. This is only the third year for the award to be presented in our young program. Taylor was selected to the Alabama All-State Red Band in her senior year and was also an All-State member for two previous years. Taylor is pursuing a Music Education degree from The University of Alabama. The instrumental music program began in 2008, and we began presenting this award in 2013.
